Dr Ying Guo

BDS (Adel), BScDent (Hons), DCD (Oral Path), DCD (Perio) (Adel)

Dr Ying Guo grew up in Sydney and completed his general dental training at The University of Adelaide in 2007 with First-Class Honours in dental research while also receiving the Moore Medal for his extra-curricular contributions to the Dental School.

Over the next 15 years, Ying dedicated himself diligently to a variety of professional and educational experiences including private practice in rural and metropolitan regions, as well as formal postgraduate training at his alma mater in restorative dentistry, oral pathology and periodontics, eventually attaining dual specialist registrations in Periodontics and Oral Pathology. He was a recipient of The Australian Postgraduate Award Scholarship during his studies in Oral Pathology, and served as a Senior Lecturer in the same subject at Adelaide Dental School from 2016 to 2019.

Apart from periodontal diseases and implant dentistry, Ying maintains a clinical interest in the diagnosis and management of various oral mucosal anomalies. He constantly aims to apply the fruit of his learning to the care of his patients, and takes genuine pleasure in striving to optimise their clinical experience plus treatment outcome at all times.

Ying is a member of the Australian & New Zealand Academy of Periodontists (ANZAP), the International Team for Implantology (ITI), the Australian Society of Periodontology (ASP), and the Australian Dental Association (ADA).
